I use the OS X version on a regular basis, but I have not tried the command line version. The regular version is easy to use, and pretty comparable to the windows version, which I used for a while some time ago. I have noticed some odd behavior since I tried to setup automatic updates, and I can't say if that is like the windows version as I never tried it on that platform. Still, nothing to make it unusable, just an odd dialog box on a few occasions.
