I just purchased a LifeDrive and sync'd infor from my Tunsten T to the LifeDrive. When I run Isilo v4.01 to read a reference document that I have , it comes up with the error message that says - "To view this document, you need the latest version." Then it locks up and reboots the LifeDrive unit and resets it.
Any thoughts.

It sounds like the document may be corrupt. Can you try iSilo version 4.27?

Just upgraded to the new ISilo and also reloaded my reference document straight from the disk I had instead of from my Tunsten T. Still same message. "To view this file you need the latest version" ...but it doesnt say of what. maybe my refernce file was compiled in a out of date version or something.

Then the issue must be that the file has become corrupted.

The plot thickens. My Sync log says that the file didn't install because "I may be short of memory." It is a 147 meg file - but afterall I have a LifeDrive you know ... 4 gig. Am I loading it to the wrony memory, wrong way? I tried syn - I tried beaming it straight to my LD. Any thoughts. Here's the note.
- Install failed: C:\Program Files\Palm\InformG\Install\WTPUB04-Full-b200501241.pdb
The memory in your handheld may be full. To check the available memory, select Menu/Info from the handheld's Application Launcher.

It looks like you are attempting to install the file to the database storage memory of the LifeDrive. The database storage memory of the LifeDrive is only about 64MB, so it's not going to work.
You can connect your LifeDrive to your computer and enable "Drive Mode" and then copy the file directly to the hard drive of your LifeDrive.

Thank you so much it works fine! I appreciate it so much. Im one step closer to NOT being called a "Junior Member."
Do you know how to copy an app out of memorie to the hard drive. I have a couple smaller files copied to the memory.

In the application launcher, go to the App menu and tap Copy. And select Copy From Device To LifeDrive. Then select individual databases to Copy.
