Is there any way for iSiloX to approximate a file's size before I commit to the conversion? It'd be nice to be able to choose a link depth and hit "Approximate" and kinda know what I'm looking at with regards to file size and conversion time. Right now, it's all trial-and-error.

I know that Google can tell you the size of the page in it's listings, but I don't know if it's because they've already cached all of the pages or if there's an easy way to determine the page's size.

To estimate the size, iSiloX would really need to download everything. And to do that, it would need to do some parsing too, so to even get a rough estimate on the converted size would be almost as bad as doing the full conversion.

I believe the size shown in google is just the size of the single file that contains the relevant results and does not include the size of any images that may be referenced on that page. It would have obtained the size when its spidering engine downloaded the file to examine it and thus stored that size in its database or cache. Furthermore, note that the size is the raw file itself, without any included images, without any linked pages, and without any conversion or compression.
