My HD died and I had to get a new one, but I didn't have back-ups of my pdb files. They're all stored on on SD card on my Palm Tungsten E, but I'd like to get a copy of them on my new HD, too. In my C:\Program Files\Palm\ folder, I only have the files stored on the palm itself (they got there when I used HotSync), but not the ones from the card.

Is there any way to get them from the card to the PC, or should I copy them to the palm and then use HotSync? I'd rather not have to do it as I have close to zero space left on the Palm and almost 100 Mb on the car, so it'd take me hours to copy a few files at a time and HotSync them.

There are a few commercial programs that allow you to mount the card as an external drive on your PC, but I would recommend buying a cheap card reader since it is much easier and faster.

Getting a card reader is an essential investment for anyone working with iSilo on a PDA. You can get them for as low as $5 on sale these days. It's a lot faster than the HotSync process to copy a file on your computer to the SD card using a card reader and then just pop the card into your PDA.
