I will assume you are speaking of iSilo files based on the fact that this is an iSilo forum. :)

You can't really edit iSilo documents, but you can do both of the things you want in a limited way with the use of iSilo for Windows. More specifically, you can print documents (if the original conversion specifications allowed that capability) and you can save the documents as text files without the formatting of the original document.

It is likely that whomever created the document disabled the ability to print (http://isilox.com/support/manual/iSiloX/ReferenceManual/DocumentProperties/Security.htm) (which, I believe, is the default).

To convert the document to plain text document, choose "File/Save As..." and specify a destination file. Note that this option may also be disabled depending on the conversion options.

The publisher of the document likely disabled printing for a reason. You may want to contact the publisher to see if they have a printable version.
