Hi, I have iSilo for iPad, and struggle to get annotations to work. I highlight the text but then after selecting the desired color, nothing is annotated in my document. Please could you assist? Thanks

After adding an annotation, tap More at the bottom of the screen, then under the Edit section, tap Annotations. Does the Annotations popup show the annotation you have added?

Thank you for your reply. Actually "annotations" under "edit" is grey'd out (not selectable or functional) and it should highlight the colored annotation but it is not the case, it is still white, nothing highlighted or annotated. Could it be licensing as I moved from my mobile to iPad. Is the license transferable between devices. Please could you assist? Thank you.

With the document open in iSilo, go to More/Document Information. What does the Information popup show in the "Title and Path" box?

The issue is that the Inbox folder can not be written to by the application, so the annotations file never gets created. Internally, we have put this down as something we need to address in the application going forward.

But the workaround for now is you will need to move your document file to another folder. Go back to iSilo's document list view and tap the icon to the left of the file's name and in the context menu that appears, tap Copy. In the "Copy File" popup, you can select any of the available destination folders. For the Options, set both "Copy Settings" and "Delete Original" to ON, then tap Copy in the upper right.

Thank you, this does work it seems. But I have created another file but cannot move the documents to this file nor can I select this file in annotation settings to associate the file. I need to create different folders for my documents and be able to associate the annotations to these, how could I do that? Thank you for your help.

Only favorite folders are listed in the destination list. To add a folder to the favorite folder list, tap the folder icon to the left of it, and then in the context menu, tap "Favorite Folder Alias". You should then be able to move files to that folder.

Note that both the document file and annotations file need to be in the same folder in order to associate the two.

This helps me a lot, thank you for the help.
