I have the same channels in a .ixl file for both a Windows XP laptop and a Mac iBook laptop. However, I notice that the Mac version seems to take a longer time to 3-4 times longer to update than the Windows machine. Has anyone else notice this slowdown?
Thanks.

Is your Windows PC a faster machine than your Mac?

I don't think so. I have a 1 yr old Apple Ibook vs a 1yr old T42 IBM Thinkpad. The iBook usually seems to be as quick or quicker with normal apps, booting and shutting down etc. It just seems to bog down when trying to convert web site information using iSilo.

...to open the same .IXL file with both computers at the same and see which one finishes first. You don't have to watch them convert the .IXL, just compare the ending times.
I have a 1.5 GHz G4 PowerBook and a 400 MHz iMac and I usually convert my .IXL overnight and sync with my iMac in the morning, but when I'm pressed for time I'll convert it with my PowerBook and sync the iSilo documents from that computer.
