I tend to make my IXL files in groups. Say, all W3C Tech Reports, or all the IETF RFCs I use, etc. It would be really nice to be able to set the properties for all items in a given IXL file, but if it's possible I can't find how.
Default properties seems to apply to everything across all ixl files (except where a particular document overrides it). non-defaults seem to apply only to individual documents. If i select a bunch of documents and ask to set properties, i get a separate dialog box for each one, which is *really* tedious.
Can a way be added? Yes, I guess I might be able to write applescript for this, but it seems like an obvious enough thing to add, yes?
Developers! What say you? Fight for me on this, and I shall hold thy oath fulfilled!
Oh yeah, you didn't make an oath. Well, then I 'll just be really grateful and buy you some beers if we meet at a conference..
