Hi - I downloaded and installed version 4 of iSiloPalm, iSiloWindows and and iSiloX just now, but they are all asking for registration codes. I own version 3 of all of these programs, but when I try to enter my old reg codes they do not seem to work. Am I missing something? Did I have to purchase an upgrade to 4? Thanks.

iSiloX does not require a registration code, but all platform versions of iSilo do.
Licensed users of version 3.x can purchase an upgrade to version 4.x from the online store (http://www2.isilo.com/Store/store.php). The cost of a single user license upgrade is $9.99.

I normally wouldn't complain about a $10 upgrade fee - especially for a product that I like so much. But I couldn't find any mention of an upgrade cost anywhere on the isilo.com site. I looked again to be sure and checked the home page, the information page (followed the links for the trial version, etc.), the download page and the purchase page.
I thought it too good to be true (free upgrade across major versions!), so I upgraded. When I saw that it was in Unregistered mode, I tried entering my v3 registration. Of course that did not work.
Again, I went to the iSilo.com website and again I searched the pages mentioned above. I looked at the FAQ (under support) and finally saw the upgrading entry.
OK, so it's there. I'm sure it will be easy to defer to the fact that yes, the upgrade cost is actually listed. Maybe I'm a moron for not seeing it the first time I looked. But I'm obviously not the only one who had a problem finding it.
Why isn't it easier to find? It's certainly not a problem to spot the $19.99 purchase price. Well, hey! that's under a *logical* site section.... purchase.
Why not be upfront about the upgrade cost? iSilo is a great product, and significant updates deserve to be paid for. Please understand, I'm not bitching about the $10 cost. I'm bitching that it was hard to find for at least two iSilo users.
