It would be nice to have an option "Don't install if the converted document is older than document on the device" on a per-document basis in iSiloX.

I know that this would require a real HotSynch conduit. But I just wanted to share this thought...

I'm not sure I understand the feature request. The document would always be newer if you had just created the document in iSiloX. This leads me to the conclusion that you want a flag in the .pdb file that states "refuse to install me unless I'm newer than the destination". However, this must be a rare case: I convert and install a document only to find and install an older copy of the document at some later point in time.

Thanks for your reply. Let me explain in detail:

I have two computers running iSiloX, one at home and one at the office. At the office iSiloX is scheduled to run at 4pm every day. At home I run iSiloX whenever I please.

Last Sunday I runned iSiloX late in the evening and installed the converted docs on my device. Monday morning I synched at the office, thus overwriting the docs with versions from sunday 4pm which are older than the ones already on the device.

The creation/modification date of the pdb should be checked to prevent this.
