Are you creating your own document or trying to convert an existing document?

Would it be possible for you to post the document? If not, we'll need to know how the document is attempting to create two-column text (e.g., tables, CSS, and the settings).

It should be enough as long as that one page exhibits the 2-column behavior.

Wow. That was quite obviously generated by a PDF conversion tool in a manner completely inappropriate for "real" HTML. The page relies quite heavily on the absolute positioning of very element while iSiloX attempts to extract the semantics of a page in order to reformat it for a variety of screens. The conversion tool does not even attempt to keep the information within each column coherent so any tool reading the HTML will have difficulty producing a document that makes logical sense.

In short, I do not believe that you will be able to convert this document using iSiloX as it currently exists.

The main problem is that PDF files aren't meant to be converted.

You could use another tool with varying levels of success:

Ricky Spears (http://www.rickyspears.com/articles/convert_pdf_for_isilo.html) has done some work in making it easier to convert PDF files to a format that iSilo can use. (Perhaps this is what you are currently using.)

As I am sure you are aware, Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html) offers their own PDF reader that is distinct from iSilo. As a last resort, you could use the Adobe reader to see how it handles your files.

I'm sorry for your difficulties, but PDF files are simply a pain to work with.
