When I try to capture the following page, all I get is a black square where the constellation should be.

http://seds.lpl.arizona.edu/messier/map/Tau.html

Here are my settings:

Images set for resize, improve contrast, dither, and compress all images 35 lossy, 16 bit color.

Color properties are keep all background, all text colors.

I tried this two ways--with link depth 0, no off-site links, and with link depth 1, follow off-site links to 1 (as it was likely grabbing the image from another page). Both times, black square.

I also examined the web source code for that page and then tried again with iSiloX plucking the following:

http://seds.lpl.arizona.edu/messier/Pics/Map/tau.gif

Just a black square again!

Any ideas what could be going on?

Well, it's several hours later and the room has gotten darker and, lo and behold, the colors have just shown up on the SONY Clie in that black square!

So, they were there after all!

But, the problem is that the square is too small to read the text!

Unchecking the Resize value helps that... though, alas, it is still too hard to read even in bigger size and becomes a hassle scrolling around. Turning off compression seems to improve the appearance a bit more...but basically the constellation map doesn't translate well, so I'm going to drop this part of my project!
