Hi All,
I am running iSiloX on a Win2K machine, and have not been able to get iSiloX to do automatic extracts without starting iSiloX. The setup appears to allow for extracts to occur even when the PC is not logged on to a network.
Any ideas? How can I troubleshoot this?
Thanks!
David

For Windows 2000, you must have an account on the system that has a password. Make sure that you have provided the password to iSiloX through Scheduled Conversion Account dialog accessible through the Document menu/Scheduled Conversion Account command.
iSiloX makes use of the Windows Task Scheduler. The Windows 2000 task scheduler may be buggy. Make sure you have the latest service pack installed. You may also want to try restarting your system to make sure the task scheduler starts in a good state.
You must have an active connection to the Internet during the time of the scheduled conversion if you are converting content from the Web. If you are converting content stored on your local hard drive, then of course you do not need the Internet connection.
You do not need to be logged on to the system during the time of the scheduled conversion, but in order for scheduled conversions to occur while you are logged out, you also need to uncheck the option labeled Run scheduled conversions only if logged on that is in the Scheduled Conversion Account dialog.
