I am attempting to sync webpages directly to my Expansion Card using ISiloX.
I have reviewed the available documentation and have verified that I have set the appropriate options for my HotSync Destination, that the Install and ISilo conduits are set appropriately, that my SD card contains the ISilo directory in the appropriate path, and finally that ISilo application in my Tungsten's memory and not on the expansion card. I am able to sync to my handheld's memory without problem. I have found one difference in my setup and what has been documented. On the desktop I am running HotSync Manager 4.0, and on the handheld I am running HotSync 5.0P (Documentation states V4 on handheld and on the desktop). Can you provide some troubleshooting assistance? Thanks in advance.

See the first image attached. It shows the Destination tab of the Properties dialog. For the entry of the document you want installed to your external memory card, make sure that the text "External memory card" follows the HotSync name. If not, right click it and select "External memory card".

See the second image attached. It shows the HotSync Custom dialog, accessible by clicking the HotSync icon in the icon tray of the task bar, and then clicking Custom in the menu that pops up. Make sure that the iSilo Install entry says "Desktop overwrites handheld". If not, select it and click the Change button to change it.

After making any changes, reconvert and try syncing again.

If the above do not help, please report back.

I retried with both iSiloX and iSiloX Clipper and both worked (!) with the settings I had before - which made me recall a variation I had not considered before - I use GoSync V2.3 to select the conduits I want to sync. When selecting only the iSilo install conduit this way, even when set to desktop overwrites the handheld, the file does not load to the expansion card. When I do a full hotsync without using GoSync, it does. This leads me to believe that this method does not properly call the iSilo conduit.
Thanks for the excellent documentation. It made troubleshooting straightforward and easy. I will notify the developer of GoSync to determine if they wish to troubleshoot this further.
I really cannot live without iSilo on my handheld! :D
